國道開車
北上及南下
行駛國道3號高速公路，至霧峰系統交流道（214）銜接國道6號，往國姓、埔里方向行駛，下埔里交流道【埔里有三個出口，請於第二個出口(埔里、國姓)】右轉，往埔里方向，至中正路右轉，再依指標左轉永豐路，沿中台禪寺指標行駛，轉東峰路直行，經過「中台禪寺」山門，往赤崁農場方向即可抵達。
東部西行

搭乘台鐵至台中站，再至台中干城車站搭往埔里之客運或民營小巴士，抵埔里後改乘其它交通工具至中台禪寺。
高鐵
搭乘高鐵至台中站，再搭往埔里之客運，抵埔里後改乘其他交通工具至中台禪寺。通工具至中台禪寺。

由台中前來
小客車有二條建議路線
- 出觀音隧道後於第一個路口左轉過觀音橋，直行約500公尺處，於第一個叉路口右轉，沿著「中台禪寺」指標，行約6公里，即可抵達。
- 出隧道後於第二個路口左轉過善新橋，沿著「中台禪寺」指標，行約 5公里，即可抵達。
大客車路線
過觀音三號隧道後，繼續直行，過愛蘭橋進入埔里市區。再沿中山路行駛，至統一速邁樂加油站左轉走信義路，經過總福汽車前路口至中正路，再左轉直行約5公里（或至西安路左轉直行約6公里），左轉永豐路，再左轉東峰路，經「中台禪寺」山門口直走，往赤崁農場方向即可抵達。
由日月潭前來
走台21線北上，過愛蘭橋進入埔里市區，再沿中山路行駛，至統一速邁樂加油站左轉走信義路，至中正路左轉直行約5公里或至西安路左轉直行約6公里，左轉永豐路，再左轉東峰路，經「中台禪寺」山門口直走，往赤崁農場方向即可抵達。
由霧社前來
走台14線由東部西行而來，至埔里後，沿信義路直行，至西安路7-11便利商店右轉，直行約6公里，或至中正路右轉，直行約5公里，左轉永豐路，再左轉東峰路，經「中台禪寺」山門口直走，往赤崁農場方向即可抵達。
由天冷前來
走台21線行駛，過台21線38.5公里處，右轉永豐路，再左轉東峰路，經「中台禪寺」山門口直走，往赤崁農場方向即可抵達。

Coming from the North or the South
Take Highway No. 3 to Wufeng Interchange (exit 214) and connect to No. 6 toward Guoxing and Puli. Take the second exit toward Puli and Guoxing. Turn right, head towards Puli, turn right onto Zhongzheng Road, then turn left to Yongfeng Road. Look for “Chung Tai Chan Monastery” road signs and follow them. Turn straight onto Dongfeng Road, pass the gate of "Chung Tai Chan Monastery" and go toward Chihkan Farm.

From Taichung to Puli
Two suggested routes for cars
- After exiting Guanyin Tunnel, turn left at the first intersection, cross Guanyin Bridge, go straight about 500 meters, turn right at the first fork, and follow the "Chung Tai Chan Monastery" road signs for about 6 kilometers.
- After exiting the tunnel, turn left at Shanxin Bridge at the second intersection and follow the "Chung Tai Chan Monastery" road signs for about 5 kilometers.
Coach Route
After going through Guanyin No. 3 Tunnel, continue going straight and cross Ailan Bridge into Puli Town.Drive along Zhongshan Road, turn left at Tongyi Sumaile Gas Station, take Xinyi Road, go through Zongfu intersection onto Zhongzheng Road, turn left and go straight for about 5 kilometers (or turn left and go straight for about 6 kilometers to Xi'an Road), turn left onto Yongfeng Road, then turn left to Dongfeng Road, go straight through the gate of "Chung Tai Chan Monastery", and go toward Chihkan Farm.
Coming from Sun Moon Lak
Go north on Road 21, cross Ailan Bridge toward Puli Town. Take Road 14 from east to west. After Puli, go straight along Xinyi Road, turn right at the 7-11 Convenience Store on Xi'an Road, go straight for about 6 kilometers, or turn right at Zhongzheng Road, go straight for about 5 kilometers, turn left onto Yong Feng Road, turn left onto Dongfeng Road, go straight through the gate of "Chung Tai Chan Monastery", and go towards Chihkan Farm.Coming from Tian-Len
Drive on Road 21, at the 38.5 kilometer marker, turn right onto Yongfeng Road, then turn left onto Dongfeng Road, go straight through the gate of "Chung Tai Chan Monastery", and go towards Chihkan Farm.
