心得感想

高一辛 黃河仁
Before I went to America, I felt excluded from it. I have been to lots of countries, but this time, when my trip
to America was arranged, my feeling of exclusion from America--another country and culture, grew stronger. After
I came back from this trip, I realized that the strong feeling of exclusion came from my lack of knowledge about
others. I was too young to have learned to appreciate the nature and the history of other people. Now, I have seen
and experienced the differences between us, and I am glad that I didn’t turn down this great opportunity. Facing a
challenge and an unknown culture, instead of shrinking back to the time and space I am familiar with, I stepped up
and join this trip with much expectation and excitement. Although many times I failed to communicate in perfect
English, I have certainly progressed due to my hard effort.

參觀今天的最後一站「蓋帝藝術中心」，一下車便馬上被這雄偉而壯麗的建築撼動，藝術的祕密就封藏在這些優
雅的巨型藝術品之內。其中有梵谷的憂愁、莫內的美學和成千上萬藝術家的巧思。步入蓋帝藝術中心的中庭，我有些
瞠目結舌，因為這藝術的殿堂裡竟然藏有這樣的人間仙境。水池的周圍花團錦簇，池裡用樹叢排成獨一無二的圖騰，
在這百花爭豔的地方，還有一層神祕的面紗、未被揭開的帷幕，正是拉斯維加斯從高空俯瞰時豔麗的市容。回到飯店
的路上，我回味著今日的種種，想著以後自己一定要去發現更多的美－－人生的美、世界的美和生命的美。

能夠得以連續參觀兩所著名的大學，真的非常難得。Berkeley 好大，而 Stanford 更大，兩所學校都是走古典風，
不論是建築，還是內部裝潢，都非常有古典的風味。走了將近一個小時，終於大略看完 Berkeley 主要建築，整個校園
非常寧靜，我認為這裡的讀書風氣應該很興盛。校園的廣大可以讓學生心胸寬大，難怪從著名大學畢業的學生都風度
翩翩！坐在充滿古典氣息的教室內，聽著老師講課，而窗外艷陽高掛，微風徐至，多麼美好的讀書環境啊！嚮往坐在
大樹下，拿起一本書看著，眼睛吸收可以淨化心靈的文字，耳朵聽取美妙的大自然和絃，是多麼悠閒啊！
